Two countries are hosting 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship

This year two countries will welcome together the ice hockey teams and the fans for IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship as Germany and France both will host the championship this year. It is happening very first time in the history that hosting of the IIHF WM has been undertaken by two countries as first time two nations have won the joint bid for hosting.

Initially, the 16 teams will be divided into two groups A and B having 8 teams each and the preliminary matches will be played in these two groups. Beat four teams will compete for the gold and bronze medal.

Not only the enthusiasm of ice hockey fans is at peak but also the Gabin Ville, members of the French U20 nation team are excited and reflects upon the potential of jointly hosted event for which both countries are committed to work together to get the positive outcome.
